OREANDA-NEWS  At the plenary session, the State Duma approved in the second reading a bill according to which the minimum wage is planned to be increased to 27,093 rubles from January 1, 2026. This is reported by RIA Novosti.

The Russian government submitted this document as part of the budget package. It is specified that the implementation of its provisions will contribute to ensuring a salary increase for approximately 4.6 million employees.

At the same time, the ratio to the median salary for 2024 will be 48 percent. As Rosstat noted, then it was 56,443 rubles.

Earlier it was reported that they wanted to raise the minimum wage to 45 thousand rubles from 2026.
