OREANDA-NEWS   Alfa-Bank and Sovcombank lowered deposit rates after the Bank of Russia's decision to lower the key rate, a RIA Novosti correspondent found out.

Following the meeting on March 20, the Central Bank of the Russian Federation lowered its key rate by 0.5 percentage points to 15% per annum.

Following the regulator's decision, Alfa‑Bank lowered the deposit rate for new money for terms from two months to three years with a minimum deposit amount of 10,000 rubles. So, now the maximum rate for this line is 14.2% for a three-month deposit (previously it was 14.3%).
