OREANDA-NEWS  Seats in the committees of the Union of European Football Associations (UEFA) for the period from 2023 to 2027 were taken by 14 representatives of Russia. This was reported by the press service of the organization.

The president of the Russian Football Union (RFU) Alexander Dyukov remained the first vice-chairman of the Committee of national associations and deputy chairman of the committee on club competitions. The head of the RFU is also a member of the UEFA executive committee. Vyacheslav Koloskov retained his place among the honorary presidents of the organization, Polina Yumasheva - in the Management and Compliance Committee, Roman Babaev - in the club licensing Committee, Denis Solovyov - in the Marketing consulting Committee, Ekaterina Fedyshina - the Fair Play and Social Responsibility Committee. Leonid Kaloshin, who worked in the UEFA expert commission on the refereeing convention, and Nikolay Levnikov, who retained his post in the expert commission of the organization for the development of judges, also remained in his position.

The new positions were taken by the head of the Russian Premier League Alexander Alaev, who became deputy of the Committee for Stadium Security, the RFU General Secretary Maxim Mitrofanov, who joined the committee for club competitions, the head of the RFU Women's football Department Maria Suchkova, who became a member of the Women's football committee, the head of the RFU Academy Irina Baranova, who joined the development committee and technical assistance. Daniil Zamorin, Executive Secretary of the RFU Control and Disciplinary Committee, became a member of the UEFA Legal Committee, and Olga Maschikova, head of the RFU Mass Football Development Department, became a member of the Mass football Committee.

On June 28, after the UEFA executive committee, Alayev told TASS that he would leave the post of chairman of the organization's mini-football and beach soccer committee. Instead, the committee was headed by Vadim Lyashenko from Latvia.
