OREANDA-NEWS  Russian tennis player Daniil Medvedev has moved up one position in the ranking of the Association of Professional Tennis Players (APR). This is reported on the organization's website.

Medvedev rose from seventh to sixth place. The rating is headed by Italian Yannick Sinner. Spaniard Carlos Alcaraz is in second place, and German Alexander Zverev closes the top three.

Besides Medvedev, there are two more Russians in the top hundred tennis players. Andrey Rublev occupies the 16th position in the ranking, Karen Khachanov is 39th.

In the ATP championship race, Medvedev is in fifth place. Eight of the strongest tennis players will qualify for the final tournament of the ATP season, which will be held from November 15 to 22 in Turin, Italy.
