OREANDA-NEWS Russian Daniil Medvedev has reached the second round of the tennis tournament in Adelaide, the prize fund of which is 642 thousand dollars.
In the first round, Medvedev, seeded number three at the tournament, met with Italian Lorenzo Sonny (without a seeding number). The first set was left for the Russian - 7:6 (8:6). During the second set, his dream refused to continue the match with the score 2:1 in favor of Medvedev. The meeting lasted 1 hour and 42 minutes.
In the next round, Medvedev will play with Serbian Miomir Ketsmanovich.
