OREANDA-NEWS  Two-time Olympic figure skating champion Yevgeny Plushenko named the amount for the competition with Olympic champion Alexei Yagudin. His words are quoted by RIA Novosti.

Plushenko said he was ready to compete with Yagudin for ten million rubles. "If there are people willing to pay, you will definitely see me on the ice," he stressed, adding that he was restoring the triple axel for this.

On March 9, Yagudin won the Russian Challenge show program tournament for the second time in a row. He received five million rubles as prize money. After that, information appeared that in the next season of the show programs, a rivalry between Yagudin and Plushenko is possible.

Yagudin won the 2002 Olympic Games in single skating. At the same competitions, Plushenko became the silver medalist. Later, he took gold in the individual tournament at the 2006 Olympic Games and in the team competition at the 2014 Games.
