OREANDA-NEWS  The football players of Rostov (Rostov-on-Don) defeated Spartak Moscow with a score of 2:1 in the final of the Russian Cup of the Regions.

In the 31st minute, Spartak goalkeeper Alexander Maksimenko scored an own goal.

In the 76th minute, Spartak equalized the score thanks to a precise strike from Garcia's left. However, two minutes later, Rostov took the lead again: Nikolay Komlichenko scored.

In the 85th minute, Manfred Ugalde, who received two warnings, was sent off as part of Spartak, and Nail Umyarov received a direct red card from the Muscovites at 90+4.

As a result, Rostov reached the Superfinal of the Russian Cup, where they will play against CSKA Moscow. The game will be played on June 1 at the Luzhniki Stadium in Moscow.
