OREANDA-NEWS Several Russian tennis players have signed a declaration of neutral status to participate in Wimbledon. This was reported by the CEO of the All England Lawn Tennis and Croquet Club (AELTC) Sally Bolton.

At the same time, the interlocutor of the publication refused to name the athletes who have already agreed to accept neutrality to participate in the tournament.

Wimbledon will be held in the UK from 3 to 16 July. Recall that last year Russians and Belarusians were not allowed to participate in the tournament.

Earlier, Russian tennis player Vitaliya Dyachenko told Match TV that during her departure for the ITF tournament in Nice, she was not allowed to board the plane of the Polish airline because of her nationality.
