OREANDA-NEWS The time difference is the main problem for the Russian tennis player Daniil Medvedev in his preparations for the Tokyo Olympics. The athlete's commentary is given by the press service of the Russian Olympic Committee.

The Russians Daniil Medvedev, Aslan Karatsev, Andrei Rublev and Karen Khachanov will play in the men's singles at the Olympics, Elena Vesnina, Anastasia Pavlyuchenkova, Veronika Kudermetova and Ekaterina Aleksandrova will play in the women's singles.

“The time difference is the main complexity. But I arrived in Tokyo on July 18, so I have almost a week to acclimatize”, - Medvedev said. I can say that I feel great after two training days so I will be fully prepared for the start of the tournament. I would also like to note the level of infrastructure - it is very high. You take a bus and in ten minutes you are on the court. But on other aspects, for example, on procedures at the airport, the Japanese should work".

The opening ceremony of the Olympics will be held on July 23.
