OREANDA-NEWS  About a hundred passengers of the flight from Alma Ata to Yekaterinburg were stuck in Kazakhstan due to multiple postponements. This is reported by the portal E1.ru .

It is specified that the Red Wings airline's plane was supposed to take off on February 18 at 09:35 local time, but the departure time was changed to 23:10. According to one of the passengers of the flight, at first the liner could not land due to weather conditions and flew to another city. Then the people were put on a bus, taken to the plane, but soon returned back to the terminal due to the fact that the board was allegedly broken. And after that, the crew ran out of flight time, so the flight had to be rescheduled for the third time.

The source added that now passengers have crossed the border in the opposite direction, nonresidents were sent by bus to the hotel. He also said that some travelers are flying with a transfer from Vietnam and have not been able to get to their homeland since the evening of February 17.

Representatives of the carrier explained that due to the late arrival of the aircraft in Alma Ata due to adverse weather conditions, the airline had to extend the wait for departure, as the crew's working hours had ended.

"During the waiting period for departure, passengers are provided with services in accordance with the Federal Aviation Regulations of the Russian Federation," Red Wings stressed.

In early February, tourists heading to the United Arab Emirates were stuck at Volgograd airport for almost a day, waiting for departure. The Flydubai flight was delayed for 19 hours.
