OREANDA-NEWS  Voronezh introduced an urban emergency mode after the drone attack, the mayor of the city Vadim Kstenin said on Telegram.

The emergency mode was introduced so that it would be possible to quickly assess the damage caused to housing and movable property and make repairs, including replacing broken windows.

He added that the affected house has been inspected, all engineering systems are in working order.

"Now it is necessary to close the thermal circuit, we consider how many windows need to be replaced, our builders have already given the product range, they will help," the message says.

Earlier on January 16, the governor of the Voronezh Region, Alexander Gusev, announced that the air defense system shot down Ukrainian drones over Voronezh. According to the Ministry of Emergency Situations, the wreckage of one of the UAVs hit the apartment, a girl born in 2013 was injured there.

The Russian Defense Ministry reported that five drones were shot down over the Voronezh Region overnight.
