Attacks on the DEG and "Gosuslugi" systems have been recorded in Russia

OREANDA-NEWS Attacks on remote electronic voting systems and the "Gosuslugi" portal have been recorded, but their effectiveness is zero, said Oleg Artamonov, chairman of the DEG territorial election commission.
"Attacks are certainly being carried out… But their effectiveness is zero. The attackers have not been able to interfere with the work of the PTK-DEG system (remote electronic voting software and hardware complex - ed.) or "Public Services" at the moment," Artamonov said, having connected via videoconference to the work of the situation center in the Russian Federation.
The elections of deputies of the State Duma of the ninth convocation and other combined elections started on September 18. Voting will last for three days, until September 20. In total, 20.7 thousand deputy mandates and elected positions are expected to be replaced on a single voting day in 2026.
