AvtoVAZ plans to increase sales to 400,000 cars in 2026.

OREANDA-NEWS In 2026, Russian automaker AvtoVAZ expects to increase total sales in Russia and abroad to about 400,000 vehicles, of which 370,000 will go to the domestic market and 30,000 will be exported, Maxim Sokolov, president of the company, told reporters.
AvtoVAZ sold 338,000 new Lada cars in Russia in 2025, which is 26% less than a year earlier, while the auto giant's export sales increased by 31% to 20.7 thousand cars.
"So far, we plan to sell about 370,000 vehicles on the Russian market in 2026. But we are ready to increase the volume. Everything will depend on the market, and the market will depend on the macroeconomic conditions that we see. We plan to produce about 30,000 vehicles for export in order to maintain the current balance of production and waste. But if our ruble is somewhat different, then these export plans may also change a little," Sokolov said on the sidelines of AvtoVAZ's press conference on the results of 2025.
