OREANDA-NEWS The Russian Interior Ministry has again put blogger Huseyn Hasanov on the wanted list, RIA Novosti reported with reference to the department's database.

"Hasanov Huseyn... is the reason for the search: he is wanted under the article of the Criminal Code... has been re—announced," the publication says.

Hasanov was previously put on the wanted list and arrested in absentia for money laundering. The lawsuit was filed in the Chertanovsky Court of Moscow on April 23.

A criminal case has been opened against the blogger under part 4 of Article 174 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation ("Legalization and laundering of funds on an especially large scale"). He faces seven years in prison.

Hasanov has not lived in Russia since 2024. According to some reports, he lives in Azerbaijan.
