OREANDA-NEWS  Nouvelair Tunisie airline will open flights from St. Petersburg to Monastir (Tunisia) from April 7, according to the Northern Capital Air Gate LLC (the management company of Pulkovo Airport).

In addition, flights from Moscow are scheduled from April 8.

"The company "Air Gates of the Northern Capital" announces the launch of flights to Tunisia as part of spring-summer navigation. From April 7, Nouvelair Tunisie opens a flight program to Monastir from Pulkovo Airport," the message reads. Flights will be operated twice a week on Airbus A320 aircraft with a capacity of 182 seats.

Aggregators also already offer air tickets for direct flights to Monastir and from Moscow. Their start is scheduled for April 8. As Profi reports.Travel, flights from St. Petersburg will be operated on Tuesdays and Fridays, from the capital – on Wednesdays and Saturdays. The type of aircraft is the same. With sufficient demand, flights can last until the New Year.

As ATOR previously reported, after the pandemic, direct flights between Russia and Tunisia returned only in August last year (in 2021, tour operators set limited flight programs). The Tunisian travel business acted as the consolidator of Nouvelair flights. Now it is planned to resume the programs. Nouvelair Tunisie also expects to launch flights to the Tunisian capital from mid-May.
