OREANDA-NEWS. Russian Prime Minister Mikhail Mishustin offered Yaroslav Kuzminov, scientific director of the National Research University Higher School of Economics (NRU HSE), a position in the government. This was reported by RIA Novosti.

Kuzminov can get the post of head of the expert council under the government. According to Mishustin, the HSE has been engaged in the examination of various kinds of regulatory documents and projects for many years, so Kuzminov's experience in this area will be very useful.

"And taking into account your experience in this area, I would like to suggest that you head the expert council under the government of the Russian Federation, and on a systematic basis organize interaction of the government of the Russian Federation, employees and apparatus, including the government, and federal ministers with the expert community," - said Mishustin.

He also noted that the government plans to develop interaction with the expert community.

In July, Rector Yaroslav Kuzminov, who had been the head of the Higher School of Economics since its inception, resigned. The Higher School of Economics was founded in 1992 by a decree of Prime Minister Yegor Gaidar. At that time, Kuzminov was the youngest head of a federal university in Russia.
