OREANDA-NEWS  The head of the Omsk region, Vitaly Khоtsenko, told in his Telegram channel "Khotsenko about important things" about the introduction of restrictions on the use of unmanned aerial vehicles in the region.

Vitaliy Khоtsenko said that the decision was made at the operational headquarters.

Earlier, similar restrictions were introduced in Moscow and in about half of Russia's regions, RIA Novosti calculated according to local authorities and open sources. On Wednesday, May 3, the administration of the President of Russia reported that Kiev tried to launch a drone strike on the Kremlin residence of Vladimir Putin. The military and special services managed to disable them with the help of radar warfare systems. The head of state was not injured.

"Today, for security reasons, the use of drones has been restricted. This decision was made following the results of the operational headquarters," the acting Governor of the Omsk region said.

Control over the restriction of the use of UAVs will be carried out by the law enforcement agency.
