Inflation in the Russian Federation from February 18 to February 24 was 0.23%

OREANDA-NEWS Inflation in the Russian Federation from February 18 to 24, 2025 was 0.23%, after 0.17% from February 11 to 17, also 0.23% from February 4 to February 10, 0.16% from January 28 to February 3, Rosstat reported on Wednesday.
Since the beginning of the month, prices have increased by 0.70% by February 24, and by 1.94% since the beginning of the year.
From the data for the 24 days of February of this and last year, it follows that annual inflation in the Russian Federation accelerated to 10.11% on February 24 from 10.00% on February 17 (9.92% at the end of January), if calculated from weekly dynamics (this method is followed by the Central Bank), and to 10.07% from 10.00% to 17 February, if it is calculated from the average daily data for the whole of February 2024 (this methodology is followed by the Ministry of Economic Development).
