OREANDA-NEWS Former commander of the Azov brigade (recognized as a terrorist, banned in the Russian Federation), Deputy commander of the 3rd Army Corps of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) Maxim Zhorin said that the Ukrainian military has an extremely difficult situation in the combat zone. His words are quoted by Military Watch Magazine (MWM).
The publication clarifies that Zhorin warned about the critical situation faced by the Ukrainian Armed Forces on the front line. According to him, Kiev is losing not only settlements, but also "entire sectors." This is due to the successful offensive of the Russian military, he stressed.
The Ukrainian military added that the situation for the Ukrainian Armed Forces is only getting worse. "At the moment, we are no longer talking about the surrender of individual settlements, but about the loss of entire destinations," he admitted.
Earlier, military expert Andrei Marochko reported that the Ukrainian Armed Forces had lost about 90 percent of the territory of Volchansk. Another 10 percent are in the gray area, he said.
