OREANDA-NEWS  Following a meeting with Russian President Vladimir Putin, Chechen Leader Ramzan Kadyrov said that he had discussed a number of important topics off the record with the head of state and received full understanding and support for each one.

"All the successes that we have achieved over the past 25 years have become possible only thanks to the long-term and comprehensive support of the President of Russia. He was always there for me—personally, fatherly involved. Vladimir Vladimirovich is modest, but I know that all these years he has been directing our actions almost manually. I could contact him with any question and always received support. Just like today. We discussed a number of important topics off the record, and I received full understanding and support for each one," Kadyrov said on his Telegram channel.

He also thanked Putin for the trust, attention and support of the Chechen people.

"We highly appreciate this and will do everything to justify this assessment," the head of Chechnya wrote.

The Head of state held a meeting with the head of Chechnya on Wednesday, where the current situation in the republic was discussed. Earlier, Dmitry Peskov, the press secretary of the President of the Russian Federation, reported that Kadyrov would take part in expanded talks with some delegations.
