OREANDA-NEWS The head of Chechnya, Ramzan Kadyrov, said that the Russians should conduct a voluntary mobilization. During his speech at the educational marathon "Knowledge", he noted that the duty of all citizens of the Russian Federation is to stand up for their country "next to" President Vladimir Putin, writes URA.ru. According to Kadyrov, true patriotism is manifested in such actions.

No one should announce mobilization, we should all mobilize ourselves and stand next to our president. This is patriotism,” Kadyrov said.

Earlier, the press secretary of the President of Russia Dmitry Peskov said that there were no plans to introduce martial law in Russia. Earlier, a number of Western and Ukrainian media published materials that the start of mobilization in the Russian Federation will coincide with the celebration of Victory Day.

The possibility of mobilization was also rejected by the speaker of the State Duma, Vyacheslav Volodin. Prior to this, rumors began to spread in the Western media that in Russia in May a general mobilization of the population could begin to participate in a special operation in Ukraine.
