OREANDA-NEWS Russia is working on a draft law on regulating the use of artificial intelligence, Natalia Kaspersky, president of the InfoWatch Group of companies and chairman of the Board of the Association of Software Developers (ARPP) "Domestic Software", told reporters in Novosibirsk.
"This is the legislative regulation of artificial intelligence. The introduction of restrictions on the use of citizens' data, the imposition of certain technologies, the imposition of certain trajectories," she said, adding that she participates in the development as an expert.
According to her, there are several versions of the text of the bill, "quite different from each other," referring to the State Duma the question of the timing of the development of the final version.
"I participate in one of the working groups, we will strongly advocate for a ban on any digital ratings, for the possibility for a person to abandon the "number", for a ban of any kind (coercion) - "switch to the Max messenger, otherwise you won't get a loan," she said.
At the same time, Kaspersky noted, InfoWatch, in particular, is developing programs that allow employers to monitor employee behavior.
"But it is used locally, it is used inside the perimeter of the enterprise, (...). If, God forbid, these opportunities are "stretched" across the whole country, then we will cover the whole country like a dome with the ability to analyze every person - and this cannot be allowed," Kaspersky stressed.
