OREANDA-NEWS   President of Belarus Alexander Lukashenko arrived in Moscow on Friday, February 17, where he is scheduled to hold talks with his Russian counterpart Vladimir Putin. This is reported by the Telegram channel "Pool of the First", close to the leader of the republic. The day before, Lukashenko informed that he would discuss with Putin issues of security, defense, as well as the implementation of economic assignments by the governments of the two countries. The channel published a photo of the Belarusian leader against the background of flight number one, on which he flew to the capital of Russia.

"The first one is already in Moscow!" the message says. Lukashenko announced the upcoming meeting with Putin on Thursday morning. The information was later confirmed by Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov.

According to him, the talks will be held near Moscow in Novo-Ogarevo.
