OREANDA-NEWS  Belarus is in demand in Russia today more than ever, Head of State Alexander Lukashenko said. His words are quoted by BelTA.

At a meeting with the Governor of the Krasnodar Territory, Veniamin Kondratiev, the President noted that Belarus has enormous technological capabilities. The country has retained industrial giants, the scientific industry is successfully developing.

"Belarus is in demand in Russia today more than ever," Lukashenko stressed.

The delegation of the Krasnodar Territory is on a visit to Minsk, a number of cooperation agreements have been signed. By the end of 2022, the growth of trade turnover between the Russian region and Belarus amounted to 60 percent, reaching about 557 million dollars, RIA Novosti said.

On September 14, Lukashenko arrived in Russia on a visit. The next day, he met with Russian President Vladimir Putin.
