OREANDA-NEWS Since the beginning of the year, over 290 migrants have been detained in Russia and their preparation for 18 terrorist attacks in crowded places has been stopped, the National Anti-Terrorism Committee (NAC) has reported.

On Tuesday, a meeting of the NAC was held in Moscow under the leadership of Alexander Bortnikov, Chairman of the NAC and Director of the FSB of Russia, at which issues of implementing a comprehensive plan to counter the ideology of terrorism approved by Russian President Vladimir Putin were considered.

"Over 290 migrants have been detained in 7 months of this year, and their preparation for 18 terrorist attacks in places of mass presence of people has been stopped," the report says.
