OREANDA-NEWS  The capital has set another weather record. Evgeny Tishkovets, a leading specialist at the Phobos weather center, told about this in his Telegram channel.

Moscow is ending March with a new heat record — by three o'clock in the afternoon, according to the weather forecaster, the thermometer at the capital's base weather station VDNKH reached plus 17.5 degrees. The previous record was held for almost twenty years: at the end of March 2007, the air warmed up to plus 17.2 degrees.

By the end of March, more than three dozen heat records were updated in the Russian regions. In particular, in Ufa and Perm, the daily maximum, which had been in place since 1951, was updated. In Moscow, according to forecasters, this March has become the warmest in the history of meteorological observations. The average monthly temperature in the capital reached plus 4.7 degrees. In March 2007, with which the current month competed for the title of the warmest, the monthly average was plus 4.4 degrees.
