In addition to Moscow, other cities in Central Russia have set heat records. According to the meteorologist, the maximum temperature at the end of last week was recorded in Kolomna, Kaluga, Mozhaisk, Tula and Ryazan.
Thunderstorms will hit Moscow in the coming days. The unseasonably warm weather will change after April 21, to be replaced by precipitation and cold weather. The air will cool down to 12-17 degrees, and wet snow will fall in the region.
