OREANDA-NEWS. At the Ukraine-EU summit on Tuesday, October 12, the parties signed an agreement on a common aviation space and a number of other documents, including Ukraine's participation in the Horizon of Europe and Creative Europe programs. This was announced during a briefing by President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky.

The Horizon of Europe program is a seven-year EU research program. The volume of it's financing is about 100 billion euros. The purpose of the program is to solve global problems and promote industrial modernization.

The Creative Europe program is aimed at developing the cultural and creative industry in European countries.

Another important topic of the Ukraine-EU summit was the discussion of possible scenarios for gas supplies from the EU territory to Ukraine. «I understand the concern about gas supplies, and the European Commission, together with Ukrainian experts, is now studying various scenarios on how to ensure sufficient supply to Ukraine», European Commission Head Ursula von der Leyen said in this regard in Kiev. One of the possible scenarios could be the reversal of gas supplies from the territory of Slovakia.
