OREANDA-NEWS  Alexey Pushkov, head of the Federation Council Commission on Information Policy and media Relations, praised the statement by Polish Foreign Minister Radoslaw Sikorski on the creation of a NATO mission in Ukraine. He expressed his opinion on his Telegram channel.

"The mission comes first. Then coordination. Then the study. Then training," the message says. Pushkov considered Warsaw's decision to be a "creeping introduction" of the North Atlantic Alliance into Ukraine, which takes an official form.

On April 4, Polish Foreign Minister Radoslaw Sikorski announced that NATO countries had decided to establish a joint mission in Ukraine. At the same time, he pointed out that the alliance does not directly enter into conflict. According to the Minister, thanks to the mission, a much larger number of soldiers of the Armed Forces of Ukraine will be trained on Polish territory.

In turn, Deputy Chairman of the Federation Council Committee on International Affairs Andrei Klimov linked the creation of the NATO mission in Ukraine with the 75th anniversary of the alliance.
