OREANDA-NEWS  Russian President Vladimir Putin said that he expects that the downward trend in inflation in the Russian Federation will be consolidated.

"If in March inflation was estimated at double-digit rates, now it is below 7% in annual terms. It is expected that by the end of December it will be about 6%, that is, below the forecasts of the government and the Central Bank. We hope that this trend will consolidate," the head of state said during the investment forum "Russia is calling!".
