OREANDA-NEWS   Russian President Vladimir Putin has instructed the government to monitor the financial condition of the coal industry by February and, if necessary, provide state support.

The relevant list of instructions following the results of the International Forum "Russian Energy Week", held on October 15-17, 2025, is published on the Kremlin's website.

"Vladimir Putin has approved a list of instructions following the results of the International Forum "Russian Energy Week", held on October 15-17, 2025... The Government of the Russian Federation should ensure monitoring of the financial condition of coal industry organizations and, if necessary, take state support measures for these organizations in order to increase their economic efficiency and competitiveness," the document says.
