OREANDA-NEWS Russian President Vladimir Putin held talks with Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi on the sidelines of the BRICS+ summit in New Delhi. This is reported by RIA Novosti.

According to the agency, the meeting of the leaders took place at the summit site at the Bharat Mandapan Convention and Exhibition Center in New Delhi.

Presidential aide Yuri Ushakov stressed that Russia highly appreciates the trusting relationship that has developed between Putin and Modi. Leaders like to communicate in an informal, trusting environment.

Earlier, Dmitry Peskov, the press secretary of the Russian leader, named the topics of negotiations between Vladimir Putin and Narendra Modi. According to him, during the talks they intend to discuss issues of economic cooperation.
