OREANDA-NEWS  The mutual trade turnover between Russia and Tajikistan increased by 25.1% in 2025, and increased by another quarter in the first half of this year, which is a good pace, Russian President Vladimir Putin noted.

The Russian leader flew to Kyrgyzstan the day before for the SCO summit. On Tuesday, Putin held talks with Tajik President Emomali Rahmon.

"We are developing in the economic sphere. Last year, the trade turnover increased by 25.1%, and in the first half of this year by another 25%. That is, it is a very good pace. This makes us happy," the head of state said.
