OREANDA-NEWS  Russia and Turkey continue to implement major joint projects, including the Akkuyu nuclear power plant, Russian President Vladimir Putin said.

The Russian leader flew to Kyrgyzstan the day before for the SCO summit. On Tuesday, Putin held talks with Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan.

"Major joint projects are ongoing. One of them is well known to everyone - the Akkuyu nuclear power plant," Putin said.
