OREANDA-NEWS Russia and China are implementing a pilot project for a joint agricultural zone, according to a joint communique following the 30th regular meeting of the heads of government of Russia and China.

Russian Prime Minister Mikhail Mishustin arrived in China on Monday for a two-day visit. On Monday, the Prime Minister of the Russian Federation, together with Premier of the State Council of the People's Republic of China Li Qiang, took part in the 30th regular meeting of the heads of government of Russia and China. A joint communique and a number of other documents were signed.

"To implement a project to create an experimental demonstration zone of Russian-Chinese cooperation in the field of agriculture in the Russian Far East, using the preferential treatment of Russian international territories of advanced development," the communique says.
