OREANDA-NEWS  Based on the results of the audit, Rosstandart decided to ban the import and sale in Russia of a number of models of Chinese Dongfeng, Foton, FAW and Sitrak trucks, as well as chassis of these brands, due to violations of safety requirements, the agency said.

"Rosstandart... informs about the application, based on the results of unscheduled on-site inspections of official representative offices of manufacturers of Dongfeng, Foton, FAW, Sitrak vehicles, of a protective clause in the technical regulations, according to which vehicle type approvals (including their distribution) have been suspended," the message says.
