Russia has harvested more than one hundred million tons of grain

OREANDA-NEWS Russia has already harvested more than 100 million tons of grain from an area of 27.9 million hectares, the Russian Ministry of Agriculture reported.
"The harvesting campaign continues in Russia. To date, 27.9 million hectares have been threshed, or over 65% of the area under grain and leguminous crops. 100.5 million tons of grain were harvested, which is 12.5% higher than last year. This volume is enough to fully meet the needs of the country," the report says.
It is noted that the average grain yield this year increased by 4.3% and amounts to 36 quintals per hectare.
