Russia has sharply reduced investments in US government bonds

According to the report, the figure was $39 million in August. Thus, it decreased by about 20 percent.
Long—term government bonds in Russian investments accounted for $22 million in September, while short-term bonds accounted for nine million. The main buyers were private investors. As of this month, Japan ranked first among foreign holders of government bonds, Britain ranked second, and China ranked third.
The total volume of net acquisitions by foreign investors reached $187.1 billion in August and $190.1 billion in September.
