Russian troops liberated the village of Novoe in the DPR

OREANDA-NEWS Russian troops have taken control of the village of Novoye in Donbas, the Defense Ministry said.
"As a result of active offensive actions, units of the Zapad group of forces liberated the settlement of Novaya in the Donetsk People's Republic," the summary says.
According to the military department, the assault groups of the 144th Motorized Rifle Division of the 20th Guards Combined Arms Army, using attack drones, destroyed military equipment, firing points and command and observation posts of the Armed Forces of Ukraine and entered enemy positions. Then they cleared the houses of the remnants of the Ukrainian garrison and set up Russian flags over the village. Some of the Ukrainian Armed Forces soldiers laid down their weapons and surrendered.
In addition, Zapad fighters defeated two mechanized, tank, assault brigades of the Armed Forces of Ukraine and two air defense brigades in the areas of Dvurechnaya, Kupyansk, Kupyansk-Uzlovoye, Osinovo, Nechvolodovka, Kamenka and Kirovsk. An ammunition depot was also destroyed.
