OREANDA-NEWS Legislation restricts a number of things that can be stored on the balcony. Alexander Filin, legal adviser to Pravokard, explained to Komsomolskaya Pravda what falls under the ban.
It is strictly forbidden to keep explosive objects on the balcony, in particular gas cylinders, cans of gasoline or solvents. Violation is punishable by a fine, and in the event of a fire or explosion, criminal liability is provided. It is dangerous to store flammable items on the balcony. By such combustible materials, the lawyer means cardboard, paper, charcoal for barbecue and even old wooden furniture.
In general, cluttering a balcony with any kind of things can be regarded as a violation of fire safety requirements and result in a fine. The landlord will have to pay from 5 to 15 thousand rubles and forcibly clean the balcony of junk. In case of repeated violation, the amount of the penalty will increase to 12-20 thousand rubles.
