OREANDA-NEWS The majority of residents of the European Union countries wanted the current head of the European Commission, Ursula von der Leyen, to resign. This is reported by Le Grand Continent with reference to data from the Cluster17 sociological company.

According to the results of the study, 60 percent of respondents supported the resignation of the official. At the same time, 70 percent of French, 49 percent of Poles, 54 percent of Germans and 60 percent of Italians and Spaniards voted for von der Leyen's resignation.

Earlier, von der Leyen accused Russia of allegedly "mocking diplomacy" and despising "international law."
