OREANDA-NEWS The Federal Antimonopoly Service (FAS) of Russia has initiated 45 cases against participants in the fuel market since the beginning of the year, the agency told RIA Novosti.
"To date, the service, together with the territorial authorities, has initiated 45 cases against a number of oil companies and independent participants in the petroleum products market, and 71 warnings have been issued to business entities on grounds of violation of antimonopoly legislation," the FAS press service reported.
The ministry also stressed that the service continues to monitor the prices of motor fuel and, if necessary, takes antitrust response measures.
