OREANDA-NEWS The grand opening of the first "Made in Russia" corner on the basis of the largest Vietnamese supermarket chain WinMart took place on June 12 in the capital of Vietnam, Hanoi, according to the Russian Export Center (VEB.RF Group).
"This is one of the initiatives of the state program for the promotion of the national brand "Made in Russia". The opening ceremony was conducted by Ilya Koltygin, a representative of the Russian Export Center (REC) in Vietnam," the statement said.
The event was also attended by representatives of local authorities.
"This is a big step in promoting products under the "Made in Russia" brand. In the future, we are going to actively develop a chain of stores in Vietnam. Russian products demonstrate their competitiveness and attractiveness to the local population. The opening of such outlets increases the recognition of our products and opens up new horizons for cooperation between Russia and Vietnam," Koltygin emphasized.
The WinMart network has about 3,700 stores, which can be found in almost every Vietnamese city.
In the "Made in Russia" corner at WinMart, Hanoi residents will be able to purchase high-quality and environmentally friendly food products that have passed all the necessary quality checks, some of which are also presented in the Russian national pavilion. The pavilion helps Russian agricultural producers strengthen their positions in the Vietnamese market.
The pavilion in Vietnam, which opened in 2017, offers more than 900 items from more than 50 Russian manufacturers, for example, confectionery, dairy products, as well as traditional Russian dumplings. Sweets, sunflower oil, and meat products are particularly popular with Vietnamese customers. The pavilion is located in Hanoi's business district, which allows it to attract the attention of local businessmen and potential customers.
The pavilion of Russian products in Vietnam is a key link in the development of trade relations between the two countries, offering comprehensive solutions for exports and imports, as well as establishing links between Russian and Vietnamese companies.
