OREANDA-NEWS  The former head of the Federal Air Transport Agency, Alexander Neradko, was sent to the Matrosskaya Tishina detention center. This is reported by the Telegram channel Shot.

According to the source, Neradko was placed in a special unit. He will remain in custody at least until September 2. He faces up to ten years in prison.

The detention of the former head of the Federal Air Transport Agency became known on July 3. He was charged with fraud on a particularly large scale committed by a group of individuals. The case is connected with the embezzlement of 800 million rubles during the construction of the Domodedovo runway.

Earlier it was reported that the Russian judge requested 50 million rubles for his favor.
