OREANDA-NEWS  The FSB of Russia reported on the prevention of a planned terrorist attack by Kiev using unmanned aerial vehicles against a strategic enterprise in the Moscow region.

"A terrorist act planned by the Security Service of Ukraine against a strategic enterprise located in the residential sector of the Moscow region using UAVs smuggled into the Russian Federation has been prevented," the FSB Public Relations Center told Interfax.

According to the special service, the start of the special operation to stop the terrorist attack "was intelligence information about the delivery of a cargo with weapons on the route Bratislava (Slovakia) - Siedlce (Poland) - Brest (Belarus) - Moscow region, organized by the SBU with the assistance of the special services of European states."

"A batch of Spanish ceramic tiles was identified and monitored, inside of which 35 FPV drones were camouflaged, equipped with Canadian-made control systems resistant to electronic warfare, with a warhead consisting of a foreign-made explosive," the FSB said.

At the same time, the Russian special service noted, it was established that the initial setup and assembly of the UAV before being sent to Russia was carried out in Kiev.

According to the FSB, the explosive cargo that passed through the territory of foreign countries was placed in a hangar rented in advance in the Moscow region, located next to the enterprise where the terrorist attack was planned. To cover its commercial use, SBU officers remotely ordered the delivery of construction and finishing materials to the hangar.

At the same time, the lease of the building and the acceptance of goods were carried out by a citizen of the Russian Federation, recruited by Ukraine for a financial reward.

"To prepare the room for the launch of the UAV, the Ukrainians attracted two Moldovan citizens: Victor Pirlog, born in 1986, and Aurel Kalos, born in 1995, who received special training. Under the guidance of the curators, they prepared the room for the launch of drones and left the territory of Russia," the FSB added.

The day before, the FSB of Russia reported "on the prevention of an attempt by the special services of Ukraine to carry out a series of sabotage and terrorist acts using UAVs at military infrastructure facilities, one of the leading enterprises of the military-industrial complex, as well as against military personnel of the Russian Ministry of Defense."
