OREANDA-NEWS The Russian government will allocate over 9.5 billion rubles to subsidize rail transportation of agricultural products at preferential tariffs, Prime Minister Mikhail Mishustin said.

"Logistics in the Azov-Black Sea basin is not easy now, work is underway to change cargo delivery routes. To reduce the costs of agricultural producers, we will allocate over 9.5 billion rubles. Our railway workers will receive these funds, which will allow them to reimburse the costs of transporting agricultural products at preferential tariffs," he said, speaking at a government meeting.

Mishustin added that this will help maintain stability in the domestic agricultural market and fulfill obligations to foreign buyers of Russian agricultural products.
