OREANDA-NEWS  The inhabitants of Australia, two echidnas and one striped couscous, were brought to the Moscow Zoo. The organization told about this in its Telegram channel.

These nocturnal animals are rarely kept in zoos in Eurasia, and they can't be seen anywhere else in Russia. "For now, the animals are settling into a new place in the office premises under the supervision of zoologists," the zoo said. It is noted that couscous may appear on display in the future.

Earlier, two Amur tiger cubs were born at the Moscow Zoo's Rare Species reproduction center. The newborn male and female were born back in August, but the mother hid them from prying eyes for a very long time.
