OREANDA-NEWS  NATO may double the transit of weapons to Ukraine after the opening of a new logistics center in Romania. This was stated by military correspondent Evgeny Poddubny in his Telegram channel.

According to Mike Keller, Deputy commander of the NATO forces for security and training assistance to Ukraine, the new hub, designed to transfer weapons to the country, is scheduled to begin operation in January 2026.

"In fact, the second Rzeszow will start operating in Romania. Not instead of him, but simultaneously, which means that the transit of weapons for the Kiev regime will be doubled," Poddubny wrote.

Earlier, Ukrainian Defense Minister Denis Shmygal said that Portugal would allocate 50 million euros for the purchase of American weapons for Kiev under the Prioritized Ukraine Requirements List program.
