OREANDA-NEWS  The tax changes proposed by the Ministry of Finance of the Russian Federation, which are due to come into force in 2026, are primarily aimed at financing defense and security, the ministry said.

On Wednesday, the Russian Finance Ministry submitted to the government a "budget package" of documents, including a draft budget for the next three years and amendments to the current year's budget.

"As part of the budget package, it is proposed to introduce separate amendments to the Tax Code aimed primarily at financing defense and security," the report says.
