OREANDA-NEWS  The Russian army has occupied two settlements in the Donetsk People's Republic (DPR). This was reported by the Ministry of Defense in Telegram.

Military personnel of the Vostok group of forces established control over Shcherbinovka and Iskra.

It was possible to occupy settlements thanks to the active actions of the group's personnel, the military department noted.

Earlier, Russian troops captured the village of Yablonovka in the DPR by fighters of the Center group of forces. Army formations continue to carry out the task of reaching the administrative borders of the republic. Meanwhile, the State Duma did not rule out the entry of Russian soldiers into the territory of several more Ukrainian regions.
